154th Session of the NJ Annual Conference

MARCH 24 – 28, 2026 | Hosted by Saint Matthew AME Church

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

It is with profound joy and prayerful anticipation that Saint Matthew AME Church prepares to host the 154th Session of the New Jersey Annual Conference. This is a momentous occasion for our church family—it has been 19 years since we last had the privilege of hosting this sacred gathering, and we are truly excited to welcome you home to Orange.

We are eagerly anticipating the leadership and presence of our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Samuel Lawrence Green, Sr., and our Episcopal Supervisor, Dr. Phyllis N. Green.

A Season of Innovation

Please note that this year, we are utilizing a newly designed schedule for the first time. As I have shared with our team, this format will be different and requires us all to remain flexible. We are working diligently behind the scenes to ensure every detail — from our technical infrastructure to our "Radical Hospitality" — is ready for your arrival.
