The Ministry

Grace and Peace,

Once again our faithful God has allowed us to grow in strength and be recipients of his abounding grace. In response to His steadfast love we dedicate our lives to pleasing Him. Jesus taught the disciples that the greatest person in God's kingdom is the servant of all. Service keeps us focusing on others and not only on ourselves. Jesus challenged society's norms. If we are to be great and useful to God, we must serve. Authority is given, not for self importance, ambition, or respect, but for useful service to God. Service keeps us aware of others' needs. We humbly accept the challenge and ergo this year's theme: "Destined for Greatness: A Vessel God Can Use". He wants to use us individually and collectively to accomplish great exploits in His name. If we obey God and present our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him we can be His utensils on the earth making a difference in His name. God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. We serve others with the gifts and ability which God supplies that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. His power is already at work in us and like Paul I am convinced that He that has begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of His coming.

God's plans are blessed and as we walk in His divine will for us we can experience His favor in every area of our lives.

In His Service,
