I greet you in the name of our Lord and Risen Savior Jesus Christ. I thank you for visiting and welcome you to the Generation for Christ Youth Church webpage. I pray that you have a joyous web experience.

The Generation for Christ Youth Church is comprised of young people 2-19 years of age at St. Matthew A.M.E. Church. Our focus is to develop a new generation for Christ, to empower youth to become leaders and Disciples of Christ, to encourage and equip youth to deal with trials and temptations with the help of the Holy Spirit, and to empower youth to put Christ First.

Youth have the opportunity to join a host of youth organizations and ministries which allow young people to express their many gifts and talents through song, dance, musicianship, and many other forms of worship. Young people also have the opportunity to provide service to the community and God's People by way of various outreach ministries.

Our Youth Church Worship Service gathers every 4th Sunday at 11:15 am at
St. Matthew A.M.E. Church in the Multipurpose Room. It is a service focused on youth, led by youth!

If you are in need of a church home, if you are new to the area or if you have not made the decision to make Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life, I urge you to look no further.
