Youth Praise Team

Ministers: 4th Sundays at 11:15 AM

The G4C Praise Team assembles every fouth (4th) Sunday during G4C Youth Church worship services at St. Matthew A.M.E. Church. The mission is to use music and song to lead the congregation in worship that glorifies God and edifies the body of Christ by providing an opportunity for intimate fellowship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

The music of the church enhances worship when it is Christ centered, offering another way of delivering the message of God's love and salvation through Christ. The power of music to touch people's hearts in a meaningful and pleasing way is achieved through respecting individual preferences and offering varied opportunities for participation in worship and praise.

Being a member of the praise team is to be considered a ministry position within the church body. As such, those involved on the praise team should contribute musically, be expected to be in submission to the authority of the Pastor, Director of Youth Ministries and the Youth Praise Team Director, and to set an example to the congregation.
